AI Assistant

The AI Assistant lets you ask questions of and interact with the research in your ReadCube libraries in ways you never thought possible. Whether you need to summarize articles, translate them into different languages, or simplify complex terminology, the AI Assistant is seamlessly built in to help.

Ask questions and get contextual, article-specific answers. The AI Assistant goes beyond surface-level insights, extracting key quantitative data to support research findings and providing clear, concise conclusions to help you grasp the bigger picture.

In the sample PDF screenshot below, the ReadCube user asked the AI Assistant, “How many patients were included in the study?”

The AI responded within seconds, saving the user time otherwise spent reading the entire document for details.

Click the diamond-shaped AI icon or button in the top left-hand corner of the PDF reader header. This will open a chat-like interface to ask questions. Once a question is asked, the AI Assistant will return responses and highlight a portion of the text from where the information was extrapolated.

AI-Enhanced Information Retrieval for Multiple Documents

The library AI Assistant can also analyze or summarize a collection of up to 20 research articles (PDFs) in your library. It uses machine learning to help you quickly find specific information within a collection of papers without manually sifting through each document.

Teams can efficiently identify patterns or gaps, and gain deeper insights into common topics and research areas across their literature set to enhance scientific discovery.

Simply ask the AI Assistant to explain or clarify complex concepts to better understand the material.

Right-click on any Library, Smart List, or bulk selection of papers. Select a suggested prompt or enter your own. The AI Assistant will analyze the documents based on your prompt and list all articles that answer the query. You’ll then be able to view the evidence in the paper for the response.

AI-Curated Library Auto-Deposit and Email Alerts

With ReadCube, you can now automate saved article searches for more intelligent scientific literature monitoring, depositing full-text articles from the results into a shared library. Automatically populating your shared libraries with new research boosts team collaboration and productivity, and saves you time manually searching for articles.

It also improves the quality of your literature research and reviews by ensuring you never miss a new paper again. Research team members will all receive highly relevant, real-time AI-curated email notifications.

Teams will stay informed with targeted AI summaries highlighting key findings of newly deposited publications specific to their research topics.

Right-click on any shared library folder. Then, click “Get notified by email whenever new papers are added to this folder.” ReadCube offers daily, weekly, or monthly AI-curated email alerts sent to multiple users within your organization.
